- Jim and Ginger head off today. Sad, but it will be nice to return to a period of relative normalcy. #
- Darn. Out of book again. This is getting annoying. #
- RT @cyface: All these print-on-demand, customized-trinket/shirt svcs are starting to feel like the Replicator from Star Trek…w/ shipping. #
- It’s awfully nice that the weather is such I can take a long walk outside during Kay’s karate class. #
- Good news: next book in the series I’m reading arrived! Bad news: no, it’s the one after next. Poop. #

- Yeah, Margie asked, as I watched the final #BSG as she went upstairs, that I not stay up too late. Yeah. Probably shouldn’t have agreed. #
- Back to work, alas. Too little sleep + lots of foofy white snowflakes + office artwork makes Dave a cranky boy. #
- Aaand having to change trains because of equipment problems = not happy, either. #

- I hate being somewhere and running out of book. Especially when it was a very good book. #

- Colorado wine-tasting party was low-attendance, high-fun. Conclusion: Colo makes good fruit / dessert / port, but mediocre Merlot. #
- Good wine and leftovers in tummy, Daily Show on TV – only problem is tomorrow is Monday, alas. #

- Finally watched end of “Avatar” series. Woot! Triffic stuff, for kids and grups alike, as three gens speculated, watched, and cheered. #
- Last #BSG ep now up on SciFi http://www.scifi.com/rewind/?sid=32850 … just need to find two hours to finally watch it. #

- It’s also fairly cool being able to watch the first ep of “Firefly” with the mother-in-law. Need to rewatch that series. #
- This has been an awful month, event-wise, for a diet. Remarkably, while not making much (any) progress losing, I haven’t actually gained. #
- Ah, the simple yet satisfying social virtue of shoveling snow from the sidewalk in front of the house. #
- Date Night! ‘Rents out to movie with kid. City of Heroes with wife, then a faboo dinner at the Fort just by our twosome. Yay! #

UPDATE: Don’t stick the tomato plants outside yet, folks.
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter Storm Watch… which is in effect from Thursday morning through late Thursday night.
Computer models are indicating that a moist and vigorous winter storm will develop and move over Colorado later this week. A strong cold front is also expected to move into northeast Colorado on Thursday… bringing cooler temperatures and upslope winds to the plains and Palmer Divide through Friday. Snowfall is expected to begin
over northeast Colorado late Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Snowfall will then continue through Friday morning. Snowfall amounts of six inches or more will be possible across the Boulder- Denver Metro area and eastward across Adams and Arapahoe counties. In the foothills and over the Palmer Divide… snowfall amounts in
excess of 12 inches will be possible. Gusty northerly winds accompanying the snow may also cause poor visibilities due to blowing snow.
Of course, between now and then we could have anything from a heat wave to a monsoon to a hail of frogs — it being Colorado.
So when does SciFi put BSG episodes online?
So when does SciFi put BSG episodes online? Because the DVR failure for the final ep is increasingly frustrating.
