I’ve been running into problem with the Search function I have here in my blog, courtesy of Atomz.com, because their excellent service only supports 500 pages. Since my archives here are individual-post-centric, and I have 800-odd posts, you can see my problem.

I tried the free search engine that comes with my hosting plan, but it has no way to limit searches to just these blog pages.

Thanks to a reference from the MovableType boards, I’ve instituted PicoSearch here as the search engine instead. It has all the great features of Atomz, and the trade-off of supporting 1500 pages vs. the inconvenience of having to manually rebuild the index.

Give it a try.
