Back in February, I did a blog on the Pop/Coke/Soda Controversy, i.e., what folks in different regions call sweetened carbonated beverages as a generic term. That was inspired by this page in which a Cal Tech fellow is using the Web to gather info on what people call it. It’s a fascinating bit of regional linguistics.
Now comes someone who thinks this all correlates with the Gore/Bush 2002 electoral split. Which is a bit … disturbing.
