I don’t know that I have a favorite instrument per se, at least to listen to. Stringed instruments, probably, coming from a string quartet kind of family (and having played the viola for a number of years). Though brass is always very popular in a variety of genres. I admire folks who can play the guitar, either casually or classically (and have sometimes thought I really should learn myself). Piano playing is also very useful, and I plan to subject Kitten to it one of these days.

Having accomplished something, silencing the little voices inside me bugging me to do it, or bugging me that I’ll never get it done, or never get it right. Can be something as simple and mundane as doing the bills, or as complex as finishing a novel.
