So we’ve been slowly gathering things up for our Britain trip, and I dug up a new, forgotten cache of travel notes from our last trip (or my one before that), including such cool items as:
- Our AA highway atlas (’99).
- My xeroxed pages on sacred places in London (’89).
- My xeroxed Let’s Go pages on London (’89)
- My pocket map of London (’99)
- My pocket Tube map (’99)
- Brochure for Chepstow Castle, near where we’re staying in Wales (’99)
- Gatwick Express pocket guide to London (’99)
- The Official BITOA London and UK map (’99)
And various walking trail brochures for Wales.
I’m actually getting excited, seeing the finish (starting) line. We basically need to pack, do the normal “vacation” thangs, and head on out. Looking forward to it …

Also found a map of sites tended to by Cadw (the Welsh equivalent of English Heritage), and my Hamlyn Leisure Atlas xeroxes of the West Country. Cool.
