Yeah, this is looking pretty good. Stylish, brutal, and exciting — just what James Bond should be. I don’t expect the movie to end anywhere near where the book does, but … yeah, pretty good looking.

I’m feeling quite a bit more positive about this movie now!
Very effective use of the James Bond Theme in the trailer.
I feel sorry for the guy playing Le Chiffre. It must be tough going up against Peter Lorre and Orson Welles.
Yep, the site won’t play. Went to the IMDB site and it worked fine.
Yep, looks good, some nice retro bits.
Well, that’s weird, because it *played* fine for me, unless you simply couldn’t load the site because of the evil “C” word.
“C” word?
*looks at the above post*
Duh.
Oh, ok.
No this site seems to load (both from Randy’s email and from your link), but the trailer stalls out at the MPAA ratings screen and there is no making it “go” sfter that happens.
When I ran it, I recall it had a very long pause at the MPAA splash screen. Don’t recall if I had to click the play button (again?) at that point.
Anyway …
Anyway…
Yes, it looks good and I look forward to seeing it when it comes out. 😀
I’m excited about this. I think Craig is damn sexy (even though I’m in the minority). Then again, I loved Dalton too. I guess I like my Bond a little more rugged.
My favorites in order are:
Connery
Dalton
Lazenby
Brosnan
Moore
Your list matches mine, Amanda. I think Dalton was closest to Fleming’s Bond, but Connery still takes the top spot, partly because those early films were just so darned good!
I actually liked Brosnan — I’d probably tick him up over Lazenby, though that’s hardly fair with but a single outing on the latter’s part (albeit one of my favorite Bond flicks). Brosnan was just a bit too baby-faced to be Bond, though I think he gave it the steely-edged try.
Moore actually has his moments — actually, his first (Live and Let Die) and last (View to a Kill) films are his best.
I, too, am a Dalton fan. He had the brutal killer part done, the aspects that both Connery (early on) and Craig seem to have.
Yes, looking forward to this.
